The long standing institution of St Kilda has freshened up its menu in time for Summer. Attuning itself further with the St Kilda vibe, new additions include southside favourites such as the whole grain new seasons asparagus salad, polenta chips with truffled pasley and Parmesan and the consistently impressive, hot and sour crisp salt and pepper calamari.
Fitzrovia’s vibe and decor is a little kooky, but exceedingly homey, with a polish that many restaurants aspire to reach. However, they don’t forget their roots, with the restaurant still serving long standing menu favourites to a forever loyal legion of locals.
An all-day eatery that also looks over the forever beautiful Albert Park Lake, Fitzrovia’s the perfect spot after a warm summer day under the sun. While they may have something for everyone (gluten-free lovers/sufferers rejoice), they don’t lose focus of what makes them great.
Hot tip: they actually do some amazing looking picnic hampers. While they stray on the expensive side, they literally have everything you need for a perfect picnic by the lake. Melbourne Food Blogger dined as a guest of Fitzrovia
