Burgers and froyo. Together at last.
There are a number of things you’d think you’d never see, and this is probably one of them. But it doesn’t matter because YOMG works as both burger joint that certainly serves up “a tasty burger”, whilst still leaving you no excuse but to stay for some crowd pleasing froyo.
100% grass fed beef patties with a whole host of options, YOMG can almost be a little overwhelming for beginners. But there’s definitely been serious thought that’s gone into their burger combinations. With the Bergerk (fried chicken), the Howler (beef, cheese and fried jalapenos plus more), and the Hipster (a mushroom burger made of vegan and gluten free dreams) being a great starting points.
Froyo-wise, there’s not much to say here. There are a number of flavours, with a few more interesting combinations such as pear & lavender, bubblegum (not so sure about that one), Nutella, and lemon & ginger amongst the usual mix of flavours. Call us traditionalists, but the typical flavours (tend to work better with toppings) appeals to this crowd whilst dealing with froyo. Pick, mix, and get creative.
One last tip, they make some means fries and be sure to grab a Yo My Deluxe milkshake – they’re next level and don’t need the freak shake craziness that’s been burning through Instagram feeds.
In a sentence: Come for the burgers, stay for a digestive froyo
